Children and Families Project

In January 2017 we started the Kinmylies Children and Families Project. This builds on what we're already doing and aims to build community in the Kinmylies Parish area, support the local primary schools, and give children and their families opportunities to engage with the Bible and explore the Christian faith.

We plan to start a new family event after the summer (watch this space!), but here are details of the regular clubs.

Monday Club meets from 6-7pm on Monday evenings (as the name suggests!) and is for all primary aged children. Games, Bible stories, crafts, songs, quizzes... it's an action packed hour! Click here for more information or to register your child online.

Supa Clubs Scripture Union Primary Aged clubs meet in the two local primaries and give children opportunity to explore the Bible, as well as enjoying games and crafts. They meet on the following days;

  • Monday lunchtime: Kinmylies  p5-7
  • Tuesday 3.30-4.30pm: Kinmylies p3-4
  • Wednesday lunchtime: Muirtown p7
  • Thursday lunchtime: Muirtown p5
  • Thursday 3-4pm: Muirtown p4
  • Friday lunchtime: Muirtown p6

We also support the Scripture Union group at Charleston Academy that meets on Tuesday lunchtimes.

Saturday Space is for pre-school children and their families and meets on the last Saturday morning of each month. For more information, click here.

Holiday Club is held each summer for one week for all primary aged children. Click here to see pictures of holiday club 2016.
